Las Vegas Exhibition

The Las Vegas architecture exhibit at the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven was part of 'Who Owns The Street?', a contemporary reimagining of the landmark 1972 exhibit 'The Street', which examined the changing nature of public space. This showcase features immersive videos, light installations, and impressive 8-foot long elevations of the Las Vegas Strip in the style of Ed Ruscha. The exhibit builds upon and updates the influential 1968 Las Vegas study by Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown, offering a fresh perspective on how commercial architecture shapes our urban environments. By juxtaposing historical context with modern presentation techniques, the exhibit invites visitors to reflect on the evolving relationship between architecture, commerce, and public life in our cities.
